Jack R. Christianson
Jack R. Christianson was raised in Orem, Utah and currently resides there. He is married to Melanie Harris. They are the parents of one son, four daughters, and are the grandparents of ten grandsons, and nine granddaughters.
He graduated from Weber State University with a teaching degree in English and Physical Education. He received a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Brigham Young University and a PhD in Educational Sociology from the University of Buckingham in England.
He has taught for the Church Educational System of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for over thirty years. While doing so he served as the Director of the Orem Institute of Religion located adjacent to Utah Valley University and as a visiting scholar at Brigham Young University.
He also served as a Special Assistant to the President for Engaged Learning at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. He has written numerous inspirational books and has published many audio recordings.
He has served in the LDS church in multiple capacities, including missionary, Bishop, Stake President and Mission President in the New York Rochester Mission.
